Our Story

Built From Lived Experience

Causaura wasn't born in a boardroom.

We're building the tool we wished existed when we were searching for answers — a calmer, smarter way to understand what our bodies were telling us.

It began with a question that millions of people living with chronic illness ask themselves every day:

"Why do I feel worse today?"

After COVID, I found myself navigating a world of symptoms that rarely fit neatly into a diagnosis. Elevated heart rates. Crushing fatigue. Brain fog. Days when I felt almost normal followed by unexpected crashes that seemed to come out of nowhere.

Like many others, I spent years searching for answers.

There were appointments, specialists, tests, research papers, online communities, wearable devices, spreadsheets, symptom journals, and countless attempts to find patterns that might explain what was happening. Every source offered a small piece of the puzzle, but none connected the full picture.

The challenge wasn't a lack of data.
The challenge was understanding how all the pieces interacted.

A poor night's sleep might not lead to symptoms immediately. A stressful day, a hot environment, too much standing, a workout that seemed manageable at the time, or subtle body signal changes could combine over days to create a flare. By the time symptoms appear, what contributed may be hidden in the past.

Existing tools helped capture pieces of the story. None seemed designed to uncover the story itself.

So we started building Causaura.

Our goal is simple: help people better understand the relationship between what they experience and what their bodies are telling them.

Rather than asking users to spend their lives manually logging everything, Causaura is designed to learn continuously in the background. By combining wearable data, body signals, environmental context, recovery patterns, and optional symptom information, the platform works to identify meaningful relationships that would otherwise remain invisible.

We believe people deserve more than charts.
They deserve context. They deserve explanations.

They deserve tools that help them have better conversations with their families, their clinicians, and themselves.

Today, Causaura is focused on helping people living with Long COVID, dysautonomia, PEM, fatigue-related conditions, and complex chronic illnesses. But the vision is larger: creating a new generation of health understanding that helps people see how their bodies respond, recover, and change over time.

We are building the tool we wished existed when we were searching for answers.

And we're just getting started.
